The White Paper: Science, Technology and Higher Education Towards Indonesia 2045 serves as input to the government in support of the preparation of the National Research Master Plan (RIRN) 2015-2019 and the following decades to 2045. This Draft National Research Master Plan is currently being finalized by the Ministry of Ristekdikti. KSI fully supports the development and publication of this white paper.
This book is expected to provide long-term direction for RIRN for the next 3 decades, and will regularly be evaluated and refined, in line with the changing demands of the times and the challenges facing Indonesia. The contents of the book highlight the state of science, technology, and higher education in Indonesia, learning from the experiences of countries that have succeeded in developing science and technology as the driving factor of their economic progress.
