Indonesia and ROK share not only similar regional vision, but also a comparable governance structure, albeit some differences in terms of public health and relevant national technological capacity

A webinar and event report which identify cross-cases experience between Indonesia and Republic of Korea (ROK) in dealing with COVID-19 pandemic, explores possible areas of bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and ROK in response to the transnational challenges of COVID-19, and identifies possible contribution of both Indonesia and ROK to regional – and, if possible, global – efforts to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar hosted experts working on respective country’s policies and innovation in handling COVID-19 outbreaks and their following risks, also ambassadors and policy-makers responsible for furthering the cooperation between the two countries. CSIS believes that there is much room to explore for cooperation and much experience to exchange between them.
