Since 2014, KSI has been supporting National Institute of Public Administration (LAN) to strengthen the capacity of policy analysts. The main KSI supports to LAN have been the formulation of module of policy analyst launched in October 2015, public lectures and a series of training of trainers (ToTs) in Indonesia and Australia. In March 2016, KSI also supported LAN to organise a national workshop to evaluate the efficacy of training and module for policy analyst training. Although most of participants said that the module is good however there is a need to improve it particularly the formulation of case studies, etc. Meanwhile, the establishment of policy analyst association is also crucial to create the platform of networking for policy analyst position (code of ethics, code of conduct, certification, etc.). In collaboration with LAN, KSI facilitated the launch of policy analyst association and international seminar on ‘communicating public policy’ on 9 September 2016.
