As part of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan 2017-2022, the Government of Aceh is working to improve the quality of regional development policies, especially by optimising the realisation of development in the last ten years of the support of Aceh's Special Autonomy. This desire is stated in one of the development missions, that is : "Revitalising the regional planning function with the principle of evidence based planning that is effective, efficient and sustainable".
To support this, the Bappeda of Aceh Province in collaboration with KSI, hold a workshop on Strengthening Research & Development (R&D) of Aceh Province. The purpose of this activity is to consult with stakeholders about the finalisation of the Strategic Research and Development Policy for Bappeda Aceh, to formulate research as a translation of the Bappeda Aceh R&D Strategic Policy and to develop performance indicators and SOPs for R&D of Bappeda Aceh.
In addition, the workshop will discuss the RPJM Aceh 2017-2022's strategic issues and the results of policy identification that need to be prepared to implement the RPJMA.
