Multi-Party Partnership in Supporting Policy-Oriented Research
The 16th KSIxChange is collaboration between Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI) with the Center for Innovation and Policy Governance (CIPG), Google Indonesia, and Indonesian Center for Law and Policy Studies; and the Ministry of National Development Planning/ National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas).
The discussion aims to disseminate the CIPG's research finding titled 'The Potential of Policy-Oriented Research Funding'. The study discusses how the private sector could be ideally involved in the process of knowledge-producing for policy. Based on the finding, the private sector has understood and quite familiar with the funding for research, but not yet aware of how to link it to policy research ecosystem. As a conclusion, they would like to encourage the private sector to be more involved in the planning process from the beginning.
