Since October 2016, with the support of KSI, PUSAKA LAN has been developing the training module for policy analyst. The training modules consist of several series including: 1) advanced module for senior-career level, 2) special module for middle-career level, 3) beginner module for candidate of policy analyst. The writers of module are from prominent universities. The two modalities to become a policy analyst at the ministries and local governments are through job transfer (impassing) for top and middle career and competency test/training for junior government officials.
In cooperation with KSI, on 17-29 April 2017 PUSAKA LAN organised a policy analyst training for middle career level in STIA-LAN Pejompongan. The training used the special, advanced, and case study modules. The twoweeks training attended by 20 officials from ministries and local governments. Later in April until mid-May, PUSAKA LAN conducted another policy analyst training for candidate of policy analyst.. The three weeks training participated by 30 government officials from ministries and local governments. Trainers and instructors came from prominent universities that have been collaborated with LAN and KSI including University of Indonesia, University of Diponegoro, University of Gadjah Mada, University of Brawijaya, and University of Merdeka.
