Lessons Learned from Knowledge-Based Policy Development Pilot in South Sulawesi

(Only in Bahasa Indonesia)

This infographic series summarises the stages of knowledge-based policy development by the Regional Research and Development Planning Agency (Bappelitbangda) of South Sulawesi Province and the BaKTI Foundation with the support of KSI. This pilot aims to demonstrate a knowledge-based policymaking cycle where a priority regional policy agenda is supported through an applied study that informs the basis of a policy.

This process started from agenda setting, where a series of multi-stakeholder discussions are conducted to identify issues, potentials, problems, study topics, approaches and the roles of the parties as material for the study. The process is continued with the preparation of the study, the collaborative implementation of the study, documenting the study results, to the process of advocating for policymaking.
