The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on almost all sectors and the health of millions of people around the world. In line with the Indonesian government’s effort to accelerate towards the pandemic recovery phase, effective data utilization will greatly assist in the policy formulation process at both the national and sub-national levels. Therefore, the linkages and compatibility between knowledge producers and policymakers created by the contestation of evidence and the increasing utilisation of data lead to a robust policy-making process.
