Public policy needs to understand human behaviour better and promote behavioural change through a more scientific approach. The best practice of Directorate General of Taxes and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has shown that the application of the behavioural insights on public services sector through simple execution could lead to the positive achievement towards policy objective. Therefore the examples need to be disseminated to inspire other Indonesian institution for constructing effective public policy through behavioural insights application.
The purpose of this discussion is to hear and elaborate on the best practice of Directorate General of Taxes and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in implementing the behavioural insights over their services. Collaborated with Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), both institutions were evaluated to identify the challenges, opportunities, and effectivity towards the behavioural insights' intervention through email services in their certain public services.
