The signing ceremony of the Subsidiary Arrangement for Phase 2 of KSI’s project took place in Jakarta on 31 May 2017. Phase 1 ran from May 2013 and will conclude in June 2017, while Phase 2 of the project is expected to run until 2022.

The Secretary of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Chief Secretary of Bappenas, Imron Bulkin, and Ms Davies signed the Arrangement. The ceremony was attended by Echelon I and II of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, KSI partners including the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, policy research institutes, and other DFAT projects. The signing marks the continued commitment and support from the Indonesian and Australian Governments to improve the knowledge sector in Indonesia, particularly in creating partnerships with various knowledge sector actors on national and sub-national levels to identify and address factors constraining the use of evidence and analysis in policy making.
